On Thursday 6th March we celebrated world book day with an exciting day of activities. With a ‘Rainbow Reads’ theme, staff and pupils throughout the school dressed in their favourite colours or as their favourite colourful character. Classes engaged in a range of activities related to our theme, from creating their own version of ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’, to contributing to the whole school Elmer the Elephant mural. The pupils all enjoyed receiving their World Book Day book and sharing their stories with their peers. Mrs Woolley is busy judging the 'unusual hiding places' competition with the winning photos going on the wall of fame in the library!
Thank you all for a wonderful day!"
