On Wednesday 20th November pupils from Elder and Maple classes went on a very exciting trip to the Warner, Harry Potter Studio Tours. The classes braved the cold weather and the long trip to discover the magic behind the scenes of the Harry Potter films. We were amazed to see the Hogwarts Express, walk down Diagon Alley and meet the goblins at Gringotts bank. Two pupils, who had recent birthdays, even got to open the doors for everyone into the Great Hall. Pupils saw costumes, props, concept art and sets from all of the movies and will use this to influence our DT lessons this term. WJ in Elder class shared that he thought the trip was “Fun and awesome, the green house was my favourite bit!”. FC also said “Amazing and exciting trip. My favourite part was the model room seeing Hogwarts”. LA thought “It was nice to spend more time with my friends at dinner”.
Staff were very impressed with all the pupils and the way they represented the school. They asked sensible questions to the tour staff and were a pleasure to take.
