Environmental Day 24th March 2023

The aim of running a themed environmental day was to spark interest and awareness in students into the key environmental issues facing our planet.  Students engaged in a range of workshop sessions throughout the day to promote awareness of environmental issues such as global warming, war on waste and single use plastics.  Students also participated in several new initiatives such as planting some new trees at school and examine ways we can adapt our environment and behaviour at school to be more environmental.   The other key aim of this day was to highlight the new environmental curriculum and to look for ways to incorporate these learning goals in our curriculum syllabus moving forward in September 2023.
