World Book Day is one of our favourite times to celebrate books and the wonders they bring.
The pupils engaged in a range of fantastic activities, linked to traditional tales. The pupils experienced the tales like never before– cooking with the Gingerbread Man; crafting with Hansel and Gretel; rhyming with Chicken Licken; stop animation with Humpty Dumpty; a Three Little Pigs sensory story and planting beans with Jack and The Beanstalk.
Pupils and staff were encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character for the day. Throughout the week, the boys have had the exciting opportunity to choose a new book and found weird and wonderful places to read them!
