In Eclipse class, we have been investigating what happens during the festival of Diwali and whether the celebrations bring a sense of belonging to Hindus.  We learnt about the story of Rama and Sita, drawing out the theme of good vs evil and how the triumph of good over evil is celebrated in Hinduism.

Hindus believe that they should try to bring as much good to the world as possible. As a class, we came together to create our own Diwali celebration by making a class Rangoli, Diva lamps, to light the path for Rama and Sita, and made delicious Indian treats.
