Athletics Competition - King Arthur's School - 1 February 2023

On 1 February, a group of our children went to Sports Hall Athletics at King Arthurs Sports Centre in Wincanton to take part in an indoor athletics competition. We were competing against eight other schools. With a variety of athletics to take part in, including: speed bounce, triple jump, long jump, chest push, javelin throw, vertical jump, obstacle race and relay races, the pupils were elated and exhausted!

A fantastic time was had by all, and the pupils put in an incredible amount of effort. They showed maturity and self-discipline. In addition, our PE coordinator Dominic took part in the teacher’s competition and won for our school!
