Star of the Week

17.11.23 Lucas

Lucas received the award this week for his fantastic attitude to persevering with a difficult skill. Lucas had taken a break from one of his challenges with Mrs Peet but decided he wanted to take that challenge back on and tried again and again until he had conquered this challenge. Well done Lucas!

24.11.23 Logan

Logan has been nominated by several staff this week for his amazing attitude around school. He has supported other pupils, helping younger boys to make good choices, has shown a maturity across the school and has stepped up fantastically to his prefect jobs. What a great week Logan!

01.12.23 Alfie

Alfie has had an amazing week with his writing! Alfie’s class have been writing their own version of ‘The Lost Thing’ and Alfie has earned star of the week for trying really hard with his sentence building. Alfie also put extra effort into his written work this week, spending extra time writing when others were play- fantastic attitude to learning, Alfie!

19.04.24 Logan

Logan has shown his fantastic social and friendship skills. This week, Logan helped a new pupil to feel confident when visiting the school. He led a school tour with maturity and helpfulness and was a credit to our school!

02.5.24 Freddie

For making a fantastic start to his time at school and in the boarding house! Freddie has settled into the routines and expectations in class and in the boarding house well and has made amazing effort with his new friends.

20.5.24 Alfred

Alfred for an amazing trip to the community garden and consistent good choices in a new place

10.6.24 Riley

Riley- for amazing perseverance and hard work with our visitor. Riley spent over an hour working through lots of different tasks with increasing difficulty and tackled them with a fantastic attitude!

17.6.24 Finley

Finley- for being an - Environmental champion. On a recent trip, Finley went out of his way to look after the beach and surrounding area for litter. Picking up litter from other pupils without being asked and ensuring it all went in the bin to keep a lovely beach clean!

Liam- for an overall amazing attitude to learning! 3 members of staff nominated Liam for either a pencil or star of the week this week, all staff talked about his wonderful work, his amazing listening skills and his general attitude to learning.
